The Vincennes Township Fire Department will host the Annual Kids Safety Camp at Wabash Trails park in Vincennes. This event will be Wednesday July 26th and Thursday July 27th. The camp will run 8:00 AM to 4:00PM EST. Participants must be between the ages of 9 and 12 years-old. A camp t-shirt as well as lunch will be provided. Campers will gain knowledge of fire safety with the Vincennes Township Fire Department, learn the importance of 911, as well as get information on Good Samaritan services and demonstrations by the Knox County DNR and a K9 demonstration. More activities available to participants include, bounce houses, water games, obstacle courses, and lessons to help learn about first responders and emergencies.
