Major flooding continues along area rivers.

The crest on the lower White was approaching Elliston Monday evening.  At Edwardsport the river was reported to be at 26.1 this morning and is expected to begin falling this afternoon. The crest is forecast to reach Petersburg Friday morning and reach 27.3 feet.   This morning at Petersburg the river was measured at 25.4  Minor to moderate flooding continues on the upper and middle White, with the crest approaching Noblesville Monday morning and forecast to be downstream of the Indianapolis area this morning.

The Wabash at the Memorial Bridge in Vincennes was at 20.6 feet this morning and will rise to 21 feet by 2 a.m. tomorrow and start to fall.

Numerous roads remain flooded in the region.
