Snowfall is happening across the region today.

Temperatures remain bitterly cold, with highs only in the upper teens and wind chills near zero. Tonight’s low will drop to around 12 degrees, with wind chills making it feel even colder.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Pike and Gibson counties in Indiana and Edwards and Wabash counties in Illinois. Areas farther south are under a Winter Storm Warning, with heavier snow expected.
