A two vehicle crash injuring multiple people in Gibson claimed the life of a local woman.

The victim was identified as 53-year-old Amy Wilson of Vincennes.  An autopsy is scheduled for today.

The crash happened Friday off Highway 41 in Gibson County at the North Patoka Exit.

14 News quoted the Vanderburgh County Coroner as saying that Wilson died as a result of her injuries in the crash which remains under investigation.

Preliminary reports indicated that a northbound Cadillac traveled into the path of 2017 Ford SUV which lost control, hit a guardrail and flipped onto it’s roof.
