The United Way of Knox County is holding a new winter fundraiser.

“Hit Play Karaoke” will be a singing competition that features team performances, audience participation, and a meal for those that come to watch. The event will take place on January 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Vincennes University Green Activities Center.

Prices are $50 for a ticket and $500 for a table.

The event will consist of teams of performers taking the stage to perform a rehearsed, pre-selected song. Teams will also be fundraising before the event to bring in early votes. Guests will have a chance to vote for their favorite performances during the event.

The proceeds from the event will go to the United Way of Knox County to fund programs and services in the community.
