Vincennes music educator Bill Marsh has been named the 2024 recipient of the N. Philip Shelton Humanitarian Award. Marsh, who has taught music in the Vincennes Community School Corporation for 32 years, will be honored by the Vincennes Kiwanis Club in cooperation with Good Samaritan Hospital.

Marsh has led Lincoln High School’s “Pride of the Green” marching band to the state finals 14 times. He currently teaches at Clark Middle School and Lincoln High School.

A public ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, at the Charles Hedde Education Center.
