Halloween is 10 days away, and the season’s activities are getting into full swing in Vincennes.

Good Samaritan will host its annual Trunk or Treat this Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the parking lot on 7th and Barnett Streets. Families can enjoy a safe trick-or-treating experience, with decorated trunks offering candy and Halloween fun for kids of all ages.

Earlier on Saturday, witches will take over Gregg Park for the “Witches on Bikes” fundraiser. Riders dressed as spooky characters will kick off at 2 p.m., cycling through town to raise money for Good Samaritan’s Breast Cancer Center. Although registration is closed, spectators are welcome to watch.

The Downtown Vincennes Association is inviting everyone to several Halloween-themed events. This Friday, the Downtown Halloween Bash, sponsored by Carson Thacker, will feature trick-or-treating, bounce houses, and food trucks at 310 Main from 4 to 7 p.m.

Next Monday, October 28th, a Halloween Bash and Costume Contest will take place along the Riverwalk during Food Trucks on the Wabash from 5 to 9 p.m.

For those looking for a real scare, the Abbatoir Haunted Attraction on North 2nd Street will run through November 2nd, offering an intense experience with strobe lights, interactive actors, and plenty of thrills.
