Gibson County authorities responded to a disturbance this morning in Oakland City, leading to the arrest of a local resident.

At 8:38 a.m., dispatch received a report of an incident in the 12000 block of East Harrison Street.

After an investigation by the arriving officers, 42-year-old Ryan Logston was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with battery and strangulation.

No other details were released.
