RTC Communications has announced it’s bringing high-speed fiber internet to more rural communities with a nearly $1 million expansion in Daviess and Martin Counties.
The project will extend fiber service to northeast Daviess County and the Town of Crane in northern Martin County.
The company says the expansion will improve connectivity for homes and businesses along U.S. 231 and surrounding areas.
This move is part of the company’s continued effort to enhance internet access in Southwest Indiana.
Engineering and construction are expected to take 4-6 months. RTC, based in Montgomery, has been serving the region for over 75 years.
