Early this morning, September 23, 2024, a man wanted for homicide in Ohio was arrested in Ferdinand, Indiana. Indiana State Trooper Connor Giesler was patrolling near Ferdinand when he received information that Alejandro Angulo Ramos, the suspect, was driving a beige 2004 Toyota Corolla on Interstate 64.

The Indiana State Police, along with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, began searching for the vehicle. At approximately 6:30 a.m., deputies located the car at a gas station in Ferdinand. Trooper Giesler and officers approached the vehicle and confirmed that the suspect, who had just exited a nearby restroom, was indeed Angulo Ramos.

Angulo Ramos was arrested without incident and transported to the Dubois County Jail, where he awaits extradition back to Ohio.
