The Knox County Sheriff’s Department has added three new deputies to its team: Tyler Kitchell, Brandon Million, and Jared Blinn. Each brings a unique background and local connections to their new roles.
Tyler Kitchell, a Vincennes native, attended Rivet High School and Vincennes University. Before becoming a deputy, he worked as a jail officer for the Sheriff’s Office and also counseled at a YMCA youth camp. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and video games. Kitchell will now begin patrolling Knox County.
Brandon Million, from Winamac, Indiana, studied law enforcement at Vincennes University and also worked as a jail officer before his promotion to deputy. Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, video games, and riding horses. He will be assigned to courthouse security.
Jared Blinn, another Vincennes native, is a graduate of Lincoln High School and Indiana University, where he earned a degree in elementary education. Blinn served as a U.S. Army sergeant and taught 5th grade for four years. His hobbies include basketball, volleyball, hunting, and fishing. He is excited to begin his career as a deputy with the Sheriff’s Department.
