Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch visited Vincennes today, participating in a Mental Health Conversation hosted by the Family Health Center at the Fortnightly Club. During the event, the center’s program leaders shared updates on their Youth Prevention and Crisis Services.

Local representatives from healthcare, education, law enforcement, government, and social services attended to learn about Indiana’s mental health initiatives.

Crouch opened the conversation by discussing her own family’s struggles with mental health and emphasized that while there’s still much work to do, significant progress has been made. She highlighted the creation of the 988 Suicide Hotline and Indiana’s improved ranking in mental health services.

“We’ve moved from 41st to 24th in the country in just a year because of all the work we’re doing,” she said.
