The Indiana Military Museum is set to host its first summer Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day this weekend.

Traditionally held in the fall, this year the event has expanded to include an additional weekend in the summer to honor the veterans and casualties of the Vietnam War.

Visitors to the museum will see living history displays, reenactments, and memorabilia.

The gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday and Sunday.

A highlight of the weekend will be the battle reenactment, scheduled for 1 p.m. each day.

For those interested in learning more about the Vietnam War, knowledgeable reenactors will be available to answer questions and share insights about the time period and the conflict.

Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the museum’s new “Vietnam Firebase Camp” and view several vehicles, planes, and tanks on display.

Additionally, the event will feature several military and food vendors.

Parking and outside events are free and open to everyone, while regular admission pricing applies for access to the museum.
