Rain earlier this week has delayed several Knox County highway road projects, resulting in a revised schedule.

Work today includes the overlay of Tilly Road from Indiana 159 west to the end of the pavement. This will require a complete road closure.

Tomorrow crews will overlay  Henderson Road and Schlomer Road. Both roads will be completely closed.

On Saturday the work entails the overlay of Brown Road, with a complete road closure.

Additionally, shoulder stone work will also take place today on Monty Road from U.S. 50 to Old 50, and Hebert Road from U.S. 50 to Deer Creek Drive. Complete closures will be in effect, but emergency vehicles will have access.

Shoulder stone work takes place tomorrow on  Trinity Road, Butler Road, and Lemons Road will be closed for shoulder stone work, with access for emergency vehicles.

Asphalt sealing is also happening today on Hazelwood Drive and Appaloosa Drive.

Chip sealing operations are also underway throughout the county, with roads posted as complete closures, though emergency vehicles will b
