A Vincennes man is facing numerous charges after a late night traffic stop.
Indiana State Police stopped 39-year-old William Davis for driving 71 miles per hour on State Road 61 near Church Street.
The officer noticed suspicious behavior and called for the assistance of a K9 unit.
The police dog gave a positive alert and after a search, glass smoking devices, digital scale and pills in a prescription bottle with no label were located.
Also found was 13 grams of suspected meth inside Davis’ sock.
It was also discovered that the licence plate on the vehicle had been stolen.
Davis was jailed at 12:14 am charged with possession of meth, a controlled substance and paraphernalia as well as dealing in a controlled substance.
Other charges include possession of stolen property.
