One person was killed and two others injured in an SUV vs. train accident Sunday afternoon in Knox County just after 12pm near Emison, Indiana.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year old Noah Strange was killed when the SUV he was driving eastbound on Joseph Emison Road attempted to cross the railroad tracks and was struck by a southbound train.
Two other juveniles in the SUV were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with serious injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office, multiple township fire departments and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene.
The Sheriff’s office says the investigation into the accident continues.
