Three fire departments responded to a fire in Bicknell Thursday.

Knox County Assistant Emergency Management Director Chance Westfall says a lightning strike caused a fire at an apartment complex on West 3rd.

The building was said to have suffered major damage and one person on the scene was treated by EMS.

The call went out just after 11pm.

A rekindle prompted another response by firefighters early this morning.
