The Indiana State Police Post at Jasper recently released its activity stats for the month of March.

Post Commander, Lieutenant Jason Allen reports that troopers worked on their days off and moved shifts in order to increase their visibility during high traffic times.

Allen reports that over 101,000 miles were driven as troopers issued over twenty-eight-hundred traffic warnings and tickets.

In addition, 22 people were arrested for operating while intoxicated.

The report also stated that various investigations led to over 100 criminal defendants.

The Jasper State Police District encompasses the counties of Daviess, Martin,  Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Perry and Crawford.
