Jasper Community Arts will host a Camp Create Spring Break, an art camp for children ages 8-12. All camp activities will take place at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, the week of Spring Break, March 25-28th.
Campers will participate in art workshops in a variety of mediums and explore JCA galleries through games and activities. All sessions are led by professional artists, art teachers, the Education Coordinator, and JCA staff. Camp Create Spring Break 2024 teaches three focus artists: Georgia O’Keeffe, Henri Matisse, and Katsushika Hokusai.
Registration is $40 per child. Camp Create Spring Breaks accepts 25 campers. Low-income scholarships are available for children on free and reduced school lunch.
