A traffic stop Thursday in Knox County resulted in a drug arrest.

Around 2 p.m. while monitoring traffic at US 41 South and State Road 241 near Decker a deputy saw a northbound vehicle pas at 90 mph. After stopping the car, the deputy identified the driver as 46-year-old Cary Lee Keller.

The deputy detected the smell of burnt marijuana and used his K-9 partner to check the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to illegal substances, leading to a search that turned up methamphetamine and a smoking device.

Keller was taken to the Knox County Jail on drug charges and also faces some driving and traffic violations.
