There is an elevated fire danger today in part of the listening area.

The National Weather Service says southwest winds will return, bringing warmer temperatures and afternoon humidity levels of 25 to 30 percent. Winds could gust between 25 and 35 miles per hour, creating conditions for wildfire and brushfire growth. Dry fuels in the area add to the risk.
