Lane closures are set to begin on U.S. 41 near Oaktown as part of a bridge deck replacement project.
Starting Monday, February 24, the Indiana Department of Transportation will close both northbound and southbound passing lanes between Old U.S. 41 and Freelandville Road. The project involves work on the bridge spanning the CSX railroad tracks. Once work on the passing lanes is finished, crews will shift to the driving lanes.
The project is expected to continue through September, depending on weather conditions.
