Indiana Governor Mike Braun is set to deliver his first State of the State Address on this evening. The address will begin at 7 p.m. and will take place before a joint session of the Indiana General Assembly in the House of Representatives chamber.

Governor Braun, who was sworn in as Indiana’s 52nd governor just ten days ago, is expected to outline his legislative priorities for the year. Topping his agenda is a proposed overhaul of Indiana’s property tax system, which he will pitch to lawmakers during the address before they begin deliberating on the plan.

The Governor’s speech will be broadcast live locally at 7 p.m. on Vincennes PBS. WVUB 91.1 FM will air a delayed broadcast of the address following tonight’s Vincennes University basketball game.
