A welfare check in Gibson County led to an arrest earlier this week.

Authorities responded  at 8:30 p.m. to the  2400 block of East State Road 64 in Princeton on Tuesday night.

When officers arrived, they found clear signs of a physical altercation. After separating the individuals involved and conducting an investigation, 47-year-old T.W. Hunt Jr. was arrested.

Hunt was taken to the Gibson County Jail, where he was charged with strangulation and battery.
