A police chase through Sullivan County yesterday ended with the arrest of a Farmersburg man facing multiple felony charges.

Shortly after 11:30 AM, Sullivan County Dispatch was alerted about a stolen vehicle heading north on US 41. Farmersburg Police Chief Cody Strain located the car near North Central High School. When Chief Strain attempted a traffic stop, the driver sped off, leading officers on a chase through several county roads.

The pursuit came to an end in a cornfield just north of County Road 850 North, where the suspect surrendered without incident.

Authorities identified the driver as Roberto Ramos of Farmersburg. He was found in possession of drug-related items and is now facing several felony charges, including Dealing Methamphetamine, Criminal Conversion, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
