A Washington man is recovering after being stabbed multiple times on Wednesday afternoon. Police say 47-year-old Daniel Meinhart was found with injuries to his head and neck at a home on Hillcrest Avenue.

Following an investigation, 22-year-old Kyle Hovis was arrested on charges including aggravated battery and domestic battery resulting in serious injury.

The Washington Police Department led the case with assistance from multiple agencies, including the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Washington City Fire, and local EMS.
