A Knox County student was one of several recognized by U.S. Senator Todd Young of Indiana for their participation in his fall internship program.
Josie Allen, a senior from Vincennes attending Indiana University Bloomington, interned in Washington, D.C. alongside other Hoosier students. The interns assisted with legislative work, communications, and constituent services.

The group also included Jesse Ryman, a recent graduate from Bristol; Sam Syroney, a senior from Evansville; and Maggie Davis, a recent graduate from Indianapolis. Caroline Prentice, a University of South Carolina graduate from Martinsville, interned in Indianapolis.
Senator Young’s office offers internships year-round in both Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis, giving students hands-on experience in the legislative process.
