The United Way of Knox County, in partnership with Duke Energy, has distributed $11,000 to support local food pantries.
The Vincennes Food Pantry and St. Vincent de Paul each received $3,600, while The Lord’s Warehouse was granted $3,800. These funds aim to assist individuals and families facing food insecurity, particularly as demand rises during the holiday and winter seasons.
Additionally, the United Way collaborated with the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy Needy Children’s Fund to contribute $1,000 to the Salvation Army Vincennes Corps. This donation will help provide essential items for children in need.
