The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will begin several road projects starting Monday, November 18, affecting traffic in Knox, Gibson, and Sullivan Counties.

In Knox County, alternating lane closures on U.S. 41/6th Street in Vincennes will extend from Executive Boulevard to the U.S. 41 cloverleaf interchange. Paving operations will occur overnight on weekdays from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., lasting through December. One lane will remain open in both directions. Drivers should expect minor delays, and periodic closures of Executive Boulevard and Old Wheatland Road will also occur.

In Gibson County, State Road 65 in Owensville will close between State Road 168 and State Road 165 near the post office for spot paving operations. The closure is expected to last three days, weather permitting. Local traffic will be allowed up to the closure point, with a detour directing drivers to State Road 168, U.S. 41, and State Road 64.

In Sullivan County, State Road 63 near Graysville will close for a bridge deck replacement over Turman Creek. The project is expected to last until mid-April 2025, weather permitting. Local traffic will be allowed up to the closure point, with the official detour using State Road 154, U.S. 41, and State Road 48.
