The First Friday Art Walk in Vincennes is this evening from 5pm to 8pm offering a showcase of local talent across several galleries.

At Art Space Vincennes on Main Street, John Puffer presents Photographs for Lulu, a collection chronicling his photography career, inspired by his daughter’s request. Puffer, a retired Vincennes University professor, will be available to discuss his work.

Northwest Territory Art Guild on Main will highlight recent and past works by local artist Amy Lane, alongside seasonal pieces by other guild members.

Open Gallery will feature sculptor Barry Barnes and artist Randi Frye in their Spouse Series, exploring the dynamic of two artists working together.

Lastly, Shircliff Gallery will showcase Sarah Wolfe’s nature-inspired art, focusing on reconnecting people with the environment.

In addition the St. James Episcopal Church on Perry Street is sponsoring an art display and performance on this All Saint’ Day.  It starts at 5 and features area residents displaying works of art created by or  in memory of a loved one.  Performances of music, poetry and literature are also part of the evening.
