The Vincennes City Council has unanimously approved a new salary ordinance for city employees.  increases for public service

Council member Marc McNeece highlighted the effort to enhance compensation for vital city employees, saying, “These have been some significant raises for police, fire, and other employees of the city over the last two years, so job well done.”

In addition to the salary ordinance, the council approved a three-year bond issue to fund the replacement of city vehicles. The initiative aims to ensure updated equipment and improved reliability for essential city operations.
