The City of Vincennes is adding two new members to its fire department. Mayor Joe Yochum officially swore in Preston White and John Wyatt Moreland during Monday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting at Vincennes City Hall.

John Wyatt Moreland, a Freelandville resident and Knox County native, graduated from North Knox High School in 2015. He brings a decade of experience as a volunteer firefighter.

Preston White, a Montgomery resident and 2005 graduate of Barr Reeve High School, has served with the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department for five years.
