Pike County Sheriff’s deputies have recovered stolen items from a local business after thefts on October 18th and 19th.

After receiving information about the thefts, deputies learned the stolen items were listed for sale online.

Working with the Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, they set up a meeting in Evansville to meet the suspects and purchase the stolen items.

The meeting happened this past Monday.

The two main suspects were taken into custody, and most of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the business.

The Sheriff’s Department did not identify who was arrested in the case.
