Hope’s Voice of Knox and Daviess Counties is marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month with several initiatives aimed at raising awareness and support.
One of their highlighted events is “A Very Hopeful Halloween,” set to take place Thursday at the Vincennes Brewing Company. Running from 6 to 9 p.m., the event will feature live music, a silent auction, and a meal catered by Bobe-B-Que.
Attendees are encouraged to wear non-spooky costumes or purple clothing to show solidarity, with prizes awarded for the most creative purple outfit.
The event aligns with the organization’s ongoing efforts, including their second annual Domestic Violence Awareness sweatshirt drive, which promotes community participation through the purchase of purple sweatshirts during October.
