Vincennes PBS is hosting its first-ever Family Fun Fest this Saturday from 9 AM to noon at Davis Hall on the Vincennes University campus. The free event is designed for children of all ages and includes a variety of activities.

Highlights include a mobile petting zoo housed in a converted school bus, a fire truck display, and a giant coloring station. Several community partners, including the Knox County Sheriff’s Department with their K-9 unit and a therapy skunk from the county dispatch, will also be participating. Nonprofits, such as the Community Learning Kitchen, will provide educational activities, including a vegetable digging game.

A special screening of a new Pinkalicious movie will take place at 10:30 AM, and attendees will receive exclusive Pinkalicious-themed swag. Popular PBS characters Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kitty Cat will be available for photos and meet-and-greets throughout the event.

In the case of rain, activities will be moved inside the PBS studios, with tours of the TV and radio facilities available.

Parking is free, and attendees are welcome to come and go throughout the morning.
