She also holds leadership positions on several local boards, including the Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors, the Knox County Economic Development Corporation Executive Board, and the Knox County Redevelopment Commission.

In 2023, she was elected President of the Indiana Association of County Commissioners, representing all 92 counties in the state and shaping policies and legislative goals. Streeter also serves on the board of directors for the AIC and was appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb to the Indiana Behavioral Health Commission.

Beyond her elected roles, Streeter is the Administrator for the Daviess County Health Department.

The award was presented at the AIC’s 66th Annual Conference in Switzerland County, Indiana. The conference, the largest gathering of county officials in the state, addressed critical topics such as transportation, cybersecurity, public health funding, and the future of local governance.
