The registration deadline for a men’s health fair is fast approaching.

Good Samaritan is hosting its their yearly Men’s Health Fair on October 8 at the Highland Woods Community Center in Vincennes.

The event will run from 7 to 10 a.m. and again from 4 to 6 p.m. (EST), with pre-registration required.  Registration needs to be completed by this Friday online at www.gshvin.org/menshealthfair. or by calling 812-885-3336.

The fair offers free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, cholesterol profiles, kidney function tests, and PSA screenings for prostate cancer. New this year, limited appointments are available for hernia, gallbladder, and lump screenings.

Good Samaritan President and CEO Rob McLin emphasized the importance of this event, noting that it provides an opportunity for men who might avoid regular check-ups to get crucial health screenings in a relaxed setting.

Again the deadline to register is this Friday.
