Vincennes City officials have approved $3.1 million in bonds for the Bierhaus Flats Subdivision in Vincennes.

The decision was made during a joint meeting of the City Council and Economic Development Commission on Monday.

While the city itself is not financially involved in the project, it is facilitating the bond funding for the subdivision’s developers.

Bierhaus Flats will consist of 240 multifamily units, located on Bierhaus Boulevard, with construction potentially starting later this year.
