If you’re planning to vote in this fall’s election, you have less than a month left to register or update your registration in Indiana.
To vote, you must be 18 by Election Day, a U.S. citizen, and have lived at your current Indiana address for at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
When you register, you’ll need to provide proof of residence. This can be done with your driver’s license or state ID number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number. Alternatively, you can use a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or any official document that shows your name and address.
The easiest way to register or check your registration is online at indianavoters.com. You can also register by mail or in person at your local election office.
Voter registration ends on October 7th, and early voting begins on October 8th, and Election Day is November 5th.
