The Bicknell Labor Day Festival kicks is this weekend with a variety of events for all ages. The festivities begin tonight with the Miss Bicknell Pageant at 7 p.m. at North Knox Primary, where seven contestants will compete for the crown.

Highlights include live music and food trucks at South Side Park on Friday, a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, followed by community yard sales, a softball tournament, and a car show.

Saturday at 10-am is the dedication of Bicknell Heritage Circle at Hooper Athletic Field.

Sunday features a community worship service at 10 a.m. and a picnic at the Bicknell Fire Station.

The festival wraps up on Labor Day with a 5K Run/Walk and a parade.

Local food vendors will be available throughout the weekend.
