The Vincennes Historic Farmers Market has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.

The contribution is earmarked for a series of essential upgrades and updates at the market’s location in the Riverfront Pavilion.

The grant will fund updates of new countertops and sinks, as well as an upgraded security system

Kurt Phegley with Duke Energy says that the work kwill be completed before the annual Vincennes Homecoming Celebration held at the Pavilion on September 28th.
