We’re less than a month away from the The Back on Track Health Fair

It’s set for Monday, September 23, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the First Street parking lot next to the Medical Center of Vincennes. This free event is designed to help families and children get ready for the new school year.

Over 15 Knox County organizations will provide resources, giveaways, and information. Highlights include free school supplies, food truck vouchers for the first 150 participants, kids’ activities, on-site immunizations, and lead testing for young children.

Dr. Alan Stewart, Knox County Health Officer, emphasized the importance of the event, calling it a “wonderful way to provide essential resources” in a supportive setting. The fair aims to ensure every child is prepared for a successful academic year.
