A Jeep accident at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza on August 23, 2024, left four people critically injured. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. at Wagler Motorsports in Lyons, Indiana.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the Jeep, used as a pit vehicle, veered out of the truck pull staging area, crashing into the crowd. Three pedestrians were struck, along with a side-by-side vehicle, a track rake, and another vehicle before the Jeep rolled onto its side.

All four injured individuals, including the Jeep driver, were transported to nearby hospitals in critical condition. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
