A motorcyclist was killed after a semi allegedly failed to stop at a Daviess County intersection, leading to a fatal collision.
The accident occurred Sunday around 10:08 a.m. at CR 600 N and CR 100 W.
A 2024 Volvo semi, driven by 23-year-old Adenis Pepa of Brooklyn, New York, collided with a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorcycle’s driver, 70-year-old Lester Linneweber of Washington, died at the hospital.
Pepa sustained minor injuries and tested negative for drugs and alcohol. The investigation continues, with reports to be reviewed by the prosecutor’s office.
