The Vincennes University Alumni Association will honor Duane H. Chattin with the 2024 Walter A. Davis Memorial Citation for Service.

The award recognizes Chattin’s 35 years of dedicated service to VU, where he last served as the Director of Public Information before retiring in 2018.

Known for his deep connection to the university and the community, Chattin has continued his involvement through the VU Foundation and Alumni Association, as well as various local organizations.

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 14, at the Green Activities Center on the Vincennes Campus.

Tickets are available until September 6. The Walter A. Davis Memorial Citation, presented annually since 1952, honors individuals for their civic leadership and professional achievements.
