Coming up on Saturday,  George Rogers Clark National Historical Park will host members of the Potawatomi Tribe for a special presentation at 2 p.m.

The event will be led by Madalene BigBear, a highly engaged citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.

Known for her dedication to preserving and advancing her culture, she will share insights on Native American traditions and the importance of creating safe spaces for Indigenous people.

The event will also feature a performance by IronBear, a Southern singing group, adding to the cultural experience.

This event is free and open to the public at the park’s visitor center.

The GRC staff invites everyone to attend and learn more about the rich heritage of the Potawatomi Tribe.
