“Dancing with the Vincennes Stars” is set for August 17,  at Highland Woods Community Center in Vincennes.

This annual fundraiser benefits the Wabash Valley Friendship Club House which serves individuals with serious mental illness by enhancing their daily living skills.

This is the 3rd annual event and spokesperson Cher Wehrman says they are thankful for the support the community has given throughout the years.

Tickets are $75 which includes a social hour, a catered meal, watching the competition and dancing afterwards.

Keri Lane from the Pantheon Business and Innovation Theatre

John and Kasey Yochum–from Heaps of Jeeps

Judy and Ryan Culp from Willows Family Health Center

Nicole Coomer from Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation

Breanne and Ryan Clark. Ryan is principal at Clark Middle School and Breanne is a teacher at Vigo Elementary.

The event not only showcases dancing talents but also raises funds and awareness for mental health initiatives in the community. Voting for your favorite dancer is done through donations, further supporting the Clubhouse’s mission.
