A good time was had by all at this weekend’s Knox County Watermelon Festival.

The Knox County Chamber of Commerce event was held at Patrick Henry Square and featured live music, contests, pageants, and lots of watermelon to enjoy.

Allie Evans was the winner of the coveted watermelon seed spitting contest.

Organizers were pleased with the turnout given the warm temps on Saturday afternoon.
