The United Way of Knox County’s 2024 fundraising campaign is underway.
Wednesday, United Way officials and over a dozen of their partner agencies were on hand at the monthly Knox County Chamber of Commerce lunch to officially kickoff the 2024 push for dollars to provide locally needed services.
The crowd heard from this year’s co-chairs of the campaign, Alli Bobe and Christopher Coffman who said they will be focusing on targeting younger professionals to get involved and start or increase their giving.
Bobe talked about one of the major fund raisers that will be held in early 2025. ….
Coming up this fall is the annual Day of Caring where volunteers work to help United Way partners with various projects.
The Day of Caring is September 19th and 20th.
