The Irreverent Warriors started a local chapter earlier this year.

Their mission is to bring veterans together using humor and camaraderie to improve mental health and prevent veteran suicide.

The local coordinator is Stacy Boehm who says a great thing about the group is that there are no barriers.

Some Irreverent Warrior events happening soon is a softball fundraiser on August 17th.

On September 7th the group has partnered with the Vincennes Park and Recreation Department to host food trucks and a walk to bring awareness to veteran suicide.

That will take place at Gregg Park in Vincennes.
